What is CoolPeel™?
CoolPeel™ is a brand-new way to safely and comfortably deliver the benefits of a traditional resurfacing treatment. By targeting just the superficial layer of skin tissue, damaged skin is removed revealing younger and healthier-looking skin.
What Makes CoolPeel™ Different?
CO2 lasers are the gold standard in treating wrinkles, age spots, acne scars and other blemishes as well as tighten skin and balance tone. Damaged skin tissue is removed, or ablated, stimulating new collagen production as heat energy is delivered to tighten the skin. Tetra Co2 laser exclusively offers the CoolPeel™ which allows patients to get the skin resurfacing benefits without the downtime, pain, or risk! Many advances have been made to improve the side effects of laser resurfacing treatments, but only the CoolPeel™ can deliver a fully ablative treatment without the downtime. There is minimal risk of hyperpigmentation, demarcation or induced infection.
What is Tetra CO2 Laser Resurfacing?
For deeper resurfacing, clients can opt to utilize the Tetra Co2 Laser which is priced higher but produces great results for those with deep scars and other extreme skin issues. Depending on the depth of treatment, CO2 treatments can be accompanied by considerable downtime while damaged skin heals.
How Long is the Recovery Period After a CoolPeel™ Treatment?
One of the main benefits of committing to CoolPeel™ laser treatments is that there is minimal downtime. You should expect to be a little red, like a windburn or sunburn. This will last for a day or two. Nothing should prevent you from returning to your normal daily activities.
How It Works
A CoolPeel laser treatment can only be done using the Tetra CO2 laser. Only the Tetra has the precision and control to deliver energy at the right depth and speed for superficial skin resurfacing results without the lingering heat that would traditionally damage the surrounding skin.
